Photo Genie

Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 September 2026

1. The service

Photo Genie helps you go through your camera roll and decide what to keep, what to file and what to delete. It runs entirely on your phone. It is provided by Redsprint Ltd, England and Wales, and it is free.

2. Your decisions

You choose what to delete. The app marks photos, iOS asks you to confirm, and the photos move to Recently Deleted in the Photos app. The app never removes a photo permanently. Emptying Recently Deleted is your own action inside Photos, and it cannot be undone. Check that album before you empty it.

3. Storage figures

Space figures are the local size of photos on this phone, read from the library after each delete. A photo kept in iCloud with a smaller copy on the phone returns only the local size when deleted. The figures are a close estimate rather than a guarantee, and iOS releases the space only after Recently Deleted is emptied.

4. Your content

Your photos are yours. The app makes no copy of them and claims no rights over them. Folders you create are albums in your own Photos library.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app on a device and library you are entitled to manage. Do not attempt to interfere with the app or misrepresent it as your own.

6. Availability

The app is offered as is. We may change or withdraw features, and a future iOS release may change how the photo library behaves. We will keep the app working with current iOS versions as best we can.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Redsprint Ltd is not liable for loss of photos or data arising from your use of the app, including photos you deleted and later emptied from Recently Deleted. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the App Store download.

9. Changes and contact
